MARCH FAVORITES

MARCH FAVORITES

Spending so much time at home this past month has allowed me to experiment and hone in on my current favorite products. Some are old favorites I keep coming back to and others are new and noteworthy I have been mixing into the routine. Allow me to introduce you to my March must-haves, and don’t forget to click the links to find the products!
I am a big fan of this brand and this product is the newest in their collection. It exfoliates dead skin, stimulates collagen, and leaves you with soft, vibrant skin!
Nurse Jaime Face Roller You’re not alone if you find yourself waking up with puffy skin in the morning. This little roller is the solution! I keep it in the freezer and use in the morning to improve overall skin tone and appearance.
Longevity Warehouse Chaga Rootbeer Soda Drops I discovered this product at Longevity, a local coffee shop near me. They created this formula with their own daughter in mind. It’s a great alternative to soda and safe for kids as well. There’s no sugar, no chemicals or dyes, and it’s even good for your immune system. One of the main ingredients is Chaga which is a powerhouse of antioxidants that support the eyes, brain, skin and healthful aging. I love adding a few drops into my favorite sparkling water.
HyperIce Foam Roller Vyper 2.0 Recovery is everything! Not just for athletes like myself, but for every single person participating in any sort of fitness regimen. This vibrating foam roller targets lactic acid build up faster than a classic foam roller, allowing recovery to take place a lot faster. I also balance on it to do planks, the vibration gets the core working like no other! If you’ve ever heard of the workout PlateFit, this is my own mini-version!
Minor Figures Barista Oat Milk I’ve tried a lot of oat milks so trust me when I tell you THIS one is my new favorite. It’s insanely creamy, and it’s also organic which is important for anything oat related due to the pesticide glyphosate that we do not want in our oats! I like it 10x more than Oatly-yes I said it- it’s that good!
The smoothie I’m drinking on repeat is Simple yet delicious, give my smoothie recipe a try for breakast: Banana, blueberries, almond milk, strawberries, hemp seeds, bee pollen, and Sun Warrior Protein or Trader Joe’s Pea Protein if it’s post workout. I usually use frozen banana and blueberry and fresh strawberries.
Aviator Nation Sweats Anyone that knows me, knows I’m all about the sweatpants life. These meet my criteria for the perfect combination of comfy and cute.
AHCC In alternative medicine, AHCC is said to stimulate the immune system and increase your defense against viral infections, including the flu and the common cold. Immune support is good to take year-round but especially important to take this month. Anything to help keep yourself healthy!
-PSO-RITE  I use this tool to release my psoas before my workouts. I’ve been coming back to this in particular more often since I am not getting regular treatments anymore during the lockdown. It hurts like a bitch but worth it for its serious benefits. Regardless of whether you’re an athlete or not, it should definitely be a staple in your home.
Let me know about your current favorites in your rotation!! xx -Maika
